classes

SUPER-MODIFIED vs UNLIMITED

the only diff is size of tire ---almost the same-- TRY-- make it more even for the average guy who doesn't have a race car

SUPER-MODIFIED- street legal , A/C FULL INTERIOR 18 inch tire and up AKA not a race car

UNLIMITED-- any thing goes --RACE CAR

EXAMPLE NUMBER 1-- I have 1600 hp race car, I just have to change back tires
AND RUN BOTH CLASSES

EXAMPLE NUMBER 2- I have a 800 hp all motor 6 speed I can run all 3 classes
just have to change tire and add nitrous and win all three
M6 STREET TIRES INCUDED

First off all good points. Second, way late to the thread. The classes changed quite a bit since they were first posted, due to some excellent comments and now we are a week away so not going to change now.

But you did bring up something that wasn't clear and hasn't been discussed much.
- For the Main 5th Gen classes,,, you cannot run two classes by changing tires. 5th Gens will be assigned a class number during tech and that will be their class. We will be running these back to back so there is no time to go change tires and run another class.

- For the Extra classes and Bracket racing, as long as you qualify you can run these as well in addition to the main 5 classes. The Bracket and M6 street tire classes will be run on Friday and then tires can be swapped for Saturday.

What about my car? I mean, I took the supercharger off of it, lift the hood & there is no forced induction to be seen, I'm less than stock. What class will I be in?

Looks like the cleaning crew gonna be busy to get the grounds shipshape for the Fest.

The grounds have never looked better. That's why we planned for May 2, 3rd. Grass is mowed, fresh paint everywhere.

I just now got back from RPR and the crew is excited about having our event and ready to go.

Some great racing today too!!!

I'm not quite ready to mod my camaro to 10,000 hp at this time. I don't want to lose my powertrain warranty.

I did watch the finals last night, the Raceway looks gorgeous, should be a blast for all attending.

Is there a list showing how many V6's have signed up so far? I'm tempted to sign up but I have never been to a track, dont want to embarass myself lol.

Sign up, this is the best place to learn, good people always willing to help others out and there will be other V6s playing on the track. This isn't like your Friday night test n tune.
