Where are all the 5th gen ZL1's?

With the release of the 6th gen ZL1, i was expecting a much bigger influx of the 5th gens to pop up. An autotrader search (my only restrictions being under $40k and manuals only) results like 5 cars within 100 miles. Is it still too early to be expecting such a market flood, or are these pretty realistic results?

Keeping mine...

LSA engine is just too good.

I'm might pick up a used ZL1 1LE in a year or two.

Mine is right outside my window at work. Not going to give it up. Not a big fan of the 6th gen body style.

Despite the new car coming out, don't forget that the ZL1 was a low build number Camaro. I've seen more 6th ZL1s than I have 5th ZL1s already, and that's not even a joke. Car shows around me are flooded with American muscle cars and there's very rarely a 5th ZL1 there.

Guess I gotta just accept what's out there. There's one that's around but it just doesn't have the recaros I wanted, which I guess I can just install later. Hopefully it's still kicking around in the following months

That's how good we are. As great of a performer as the 6th gen. is, for me it isn't enough of a reason to trade. This is a two fold result: 1. the 5th gen ZL1 is good, and 2. I haven't had my car that long or put a lot of mileage on it to consider trading.

True Statement I've seen more 6th Gen ZL1's as well.

I like the muscle looks of the 5th gen and I am happy with the 850 hp for now. Looking for a 1st gen stable mate now.

The 5th gen ZL1 is AmericanMUSCLE. The 6th gen just doesn't do it for me. The back end is extremely ugly. Great performance but looks to euro. I'll be keeping mine.
