The original 5th design is more distinctive, while the newer design is modern but still similar to classic camaros.
I prefer the 10-13 because it doesnt look like anything else.

You'll find that the people that have the 10-13 years prefer the 10-13 year and the people who own the 14-15 prefer the 14-15. I personally own a 14 and don't prefer either one, I am torn between the 2.

+1 I can go with either, however I do notice that different colors seem to look better on one model vs the other. Just my opinion.

I agree. I think the 10-13 look better on dark colors, while the 14-15 are better with the light colors. Not sure why...

I own a 2013, and I prefer the 2010 to 2013 tail lights. Go figure... 😄

It's a draw.. I have a 2014 and I like the 10-13 tails better but I like the 14-15 fronts and hood way better.

I own a 10-13 but honestly I like them both equally. Though I think a black 14-15 is as mean of a ZL1 as it gets, while a white 12-13 ZL1 is a lot more classic and almost Vetteish with the 4 individual lights.

A lot of people here hate the '14 refresh, but I actually like the tail lights over the previous '10-'13 lights. I never was a fan of the early tail lights, as somehow they just seemed to be unresolved in its appearance IMO.

I strongly dislike the 14's. I was planning on buying a '14 model, but when GM unveiled the refresh at the New York Auto show.. I made the decision to buy a '13 and had my order in within a week. Very happy with my decision.

I don't own a Camaro anymore but if I was to buy a gen 5 again it would be a 2012-2013 ZL1. By far the best looking Gen 5. A buddy has a Yellow 2012 ZL1 and it looks so good. The 2014+ rear end never did grow on me.

I miss my 2013 ZL1. My guess is it will be a classic one day.

I like the 10-13, having the old front end and the new rear end just looks off to me.
