My New to me ZL1 M6 and fluid change

Hi everyone,
I just picked up this 2013 ZL1 with 3960 miles. It had an oil change before I got it but is there anything I need to know for break in continued or just drive it?
Also recommended fluid change for any parts soon?
I had a 2010 2ss I changed around 7500 miles and had 115,000 miles no issues, with the LSA any differences?
Not racing just fun street driving, not daily.

Thanks!

Congratulations - that is a beautiful car indeed.

The best advice I can give you is to follow your owner's manual recommendations as far as service requirements. At 3960 miles, the car is essentially broken in (by GM's standards) so enjoy that Camaro.

The LSA is a very solid motor and good for a lot more HP than stock. If you leave it stock, you will get years of enjoyment out of it for sure!

If you did not get the manual with the car, you can find it online for an easy and free download. There used to be a link posted on this forum so a search should find it for you quickly.

Enjoy!

Try this link to get a PDF copy of a 2015 manual if you do not have one with the car.

Looks nice it's broken in just drive it.... That mileage shouldn't have anything to do to it yet. You already said there was a recent oil change, that would be the only thing I would say to do and not because it is due.... Check your oil life percentage...

When I got my new Zl1 I put Amsoil everything in it except the brake fluid and my car temp dropped almost 20 degrees and ran much smoother. If this is a DD and not used for any high performance events you probably don't need that expensive of a product, however I always try to put high quality fluids in all my cars.

I would recommend changing tranny and rear end fluid. The break-in period is over but some new fluid would never hurt anything. I used OEM fluids. Check out the picture below, this was the rear end fluid plug at 500 miles!!

I agree with Shark72 but it's only based on my experience which was this: My rear end was whining a little (insert joke here) so I flushed and put in Royal Purple. It got worse so I bought some Amsoil gear oil and it went away. I also do not have any affiliation with Amsoil, nor do I sell it. This is just my experience.
