2013 without a doubt. It's old school, and looks damn good. 2014 on is too conflicting: euro with old school.

I have a 15, but prefer the 10-13 tail lights. The front refresh has grown on me, of course my ZL1 does not have the redesigned front end.

The 10-13 tail lights definitely look very nice as the majority of everyone seem to agree so far from this thread, I do like both and neither looks bad in my opinion. A friend of mines son works with GM on one of the development teams, he said that when they decided to make the revisions to the 14 & 15 Camaro year, they went back and forth about leaving the ZL1 rear end as the 10-13 for the 14 & 15 year production models due its front end staying the same, but production cost was not feasible to do both.

I've owned both 2013 and 2014 like the taillights equally ...
The thinner new style taillights (retro) does make the car look wider and lower when combined with the much shorter height bumper and taller diffuser.
The whole backend was tweaked not just the lights -- The distance difference between the bottom of the trunk lid and the top of the diffuser is amazing, adding to the wider lower car optical illusion on the newer version.
Newer style Diffuser is horizontally wider/wraps around sides and the wider Spoiler adds to the effect.
Side-by-side pictures follow:

Yes they all look nice on the photo, with the photo being taken directly behind the SS it gives the outer two cars more of an illusion because you capture more of their sides than the car in the center.

14/15 Matches the lines of the rear end. And they look smokin at night.

I like the 14-15 tail light more. The whole car has features from the 69 camaro. So going with the entire theme of the car the 14-15 tail light look better. IMO

Either one for me..I shared this link on mustangforums.com, they spend the most time looking at our rear..they should decide the tie breaker.
