I think they gotta beef up the hp on the eight's, 400 is only slightly ahead of the Pontiac's 380 for a sedan sport type and the other European and Asian cars are in the ballpark. If u are producing a Camaro, gotta add another 100 hp, at least.

Wait 'til we see a better shot of the polished aluminums. I think a lot of people are going to be changing their minds.

Nope, love the midnight silver non-polished wheels, so I'm keeping them on mine.

Def midnight silver. Anything chrome or polished is just way to much bling.

The G8 GT is 361 and the GXP is 415. And only the SS auto is 400, the SS manual is 426. Its not 500+ but its enough to make a 0-60 run right on the heals of GT500's. Considering that it costs $10 000 less and should handle better, that isn't too bad. And how many Asian cars deliver 400+ hp?

Well I would have to say that for the first time I am having second thoughts about my prefered color choice. From the begining I have always said that i would have black.

However after seeing this picture I am torn. I know that black is a pain in the @$$ to keep clean, however when it is clean it looks amazing. Flame suit engage. I had a 98 mustang back in high school that was a v6 that I droped a 5.4 supercharged motor, trans and rear diff out of a 2000 Corba R that my next door neighbor totaled and never reported. Any way it was black and I always had to wash that car 2 to 3 times per week. In my defence I was able to buy the car for 2 grand and the motor trans and dif for about 8k for a grand total of 10 k, compared to a 98 Z28 that I was looking at for 15k. Anyways back to the topic at hand how hard is it to keep a red car looking its best?
