I will guess a damaged wire tree, something goes to ground to drain, I will say a Monday built car

Well of course they don't, diagnosis time does not pay on a warranty claim. You could spend days figuring out what is wrong with that car and get paid squat.

With that being said, warranties cover thousands of dollars in sensors and modules that weren't needed, or in this case new batteries wasted.

Many good responses! Thanks guys. Yes I did have an after market Nav system installed through the existing radio. The audio dealer checked it for a drain and ruled out the radio circuit and also confirmed the drain. My next step is to disconnect the add-on Nav system and then take it back to the dealer and try and make them find the drain.
Interesting to note though, there are several reports of people with 14's and 15's with the same problem yet Chevy or at least the dealership doesn't seem to know anything about it.
Side note: I have already decided to trade this one in on a 2016 2SS when they become available.
