no it's not legal
but you can get lt's and go for quite catback system

in oman and some plases in ksa its ok and in bahrain they well give you a cheap ticket but in uae , qatar and q8 they thru your car in the police trafic department plus ticket

it's not illegal illegal cause we don't have emission test or maybe we have and they don't bother with it Idk I never had it done on any of my cars nor I have seen it done.but they can fine you if your car is loud it depends on the cop.what I did is I inserted the LT's with an x-pipe and kept the stock mufflers and whenever I come near a roadblock and he ask me If I had an exhaust I tell him no go and check and so far it seems to be working knock on the wood.

BTW Lt's are a must big difference in performance.

The one I have is this one

Which is ARH 1 7/8 with AR x-pipe except no cats.the xpipe is 3 inches and it reduces to 2 1/2 inches at the back to be connected to the stock mufflers.you require minor cutting and welding at the end.the h-pipe is still intack and you can reinstall it any time you want.

Aaah I hope you got the picture I'm very bad at explanations if you want you can pm me your number and I more than happy to show you

P.s You can always go with the short system if you have a catback just remember the stock mufflers are straight through design and very effective

stock mufflers on the LS3 maybe, not the L99...
