Numbers are about right.
1500 RPM@60mph is high, are you in the top gear?

I'm at 1200 rpm@65 mph / 7MT non Z51 70 mph is about 1300 RPM

Yes, the 1500 was kinda of a guess (didn't quite remember, knew it was around 1500) and I have an automatic.

Off topic -- I didn't even know the vette had a fuel economy screen. I'll have to look for that one.

Yeah, I knew coming in it wasn't going to get great MPG, so I'm not going to worry about it. I am impressed with the HWY economy the Stringray gets, but we bought them for the of fun per gallon though!

Does it actually get better mpg in eco mode. Even in sport mode it seems to switch to 4 banger mode every chance it gets.

I only drove about 25 miles in Eco so I didn't try to check milege, just can't get away from that Sport mode sound. I've read in other posts about the gas milege guys are getting in Eco and there is quite a difference. Your car jumps to four cylinders while it's in Sport mode?

Seems to. Only when cruising on the highway though.

I just took a look at your journal, Beautiful car. The next time you come to NC I'll take it for a test drive to see what that quirky changing is all about. It's probably nothing but maybe you should have the dealership check it out.
