Carpet Mats...
Hello -
I bought my 2SS/RS about 3 weeks ago (Click here for more). It is awesome... So my question: It came with the OEM factory jet black front floor mats. No rear mats. I am not planning on hauling anybody in the back seat (no kids, nothing) but I feel I need to get some sort of carpet mat to protect the factory carpet. I've been reading about Lloyd's mats. I like them. I think a new set of front mats with the "Camaro SS" embroidery in red would be pretty sweet. However, is there anyone using the laser fitted Wethertech mats? I've never bought Weathertech so I was wondering what your suggestions are? I live in South Carolina so ice/snow is not an issue. I would appreciate any info on this. Thanks! RedRock |

You can get the OEM mats from eBay, Amazon or the dealer. The oem part # is 22781772.

I bought mine from Banner Automotive via ebay for $109 shipped. They are the all weather ones with red edging and camaro embroidered on red. They look great.

I'm totally in LOVE with my Weather Tech DigitalFit Floor Mats. I didn't buy rears, but the front fits SUPERBLY.

I got some at Walmart. They look just like the GM accessory ones.

When I bought my '13 2SS RS it came with both the stock and upgraded front & rear floor matts (stock installed, upgraded in trunk) ... guess it depends on the dealership

Well, they do come with the fronts as a set, but for $16 for both the front and back, I figured I could always use the front ones to save my original GM (front) mats. In fact, that's what I'm currently doing right now.

Lloyd's mats are really top flight, well worth it. You don't need the Weathertech mats, that's for us dumb enough to live in winter conditions.

I'm in Arizona, the WeatherTechs catch so much crap from the desert, it's not even funny!

Lloyd LUXE 48oz mats are by far the best. Make sure you order the LUXE line if you want the thickest ones with a lifetime warranty. I got mine from http://www.high-end-motorsports.com but you have to call and ask for the LUXE mats. Don't order online. If you do you will be ordering from the 32oz Ultimat line.
