A buddy of mine just ordered a new 2014 Chevy 1500 6.2L Z71 and was asking me how I tracked my Camaro order. Well, I lot has changed in 5 years from the looks of it lol..

Can anyone give me the lowdown on how the process works now and how long each step takes? He ordered on Thursday 1/16 and the dealer gave him the order number but it's not showing up on the Chevy tracker page.

The Order # shows 1100 status. The 6.2L engine may slow this one up a bit. We'll be able to figure timing better once it gets into the system. Otherwise, feel free to post it anytime and we'll check the status

It's here (see my new avatar photo)! Thank you so, so much for helping to keep me sane-ish during this process. All told it was 11 weeks (7 weeks after the car was built). I think it was worth waiting for!

It's supposed to be a supplier issue is
