Halo's On the SS???
I was looking at one of the pictures from the Melborn reveil, and I noticed something on the headlights that caught me off guard. The SS that was unveiled had halogens, so I'm assuming it does NOT have the RS package (meaning no halo's), but when I really looked at the light, it almost looks like it might have the same halo around the outer edge of the halogens as the RS lights. Does anyone else see it?
I circled what I'm talking about in the second picture. EDIT: I also added an RS picture for some sort of decent comparison.

That might be it, but I'm not sure, so I wanted to see what others thought of it.

that wouldnt make any sense because theyve already told us we could upgrade to them with an RS package.

^ Not fair... just joking. It still looks like a beast!! Besides, i was just going by the picture from Melborn. I knew there weren't any halo's on any of the other SS's (that is why it caught me off guard). That one picture just made it seem like it had a halo.

those are regular lights, no halos/hids. sorry.
The LT and the SS version will be available with a RS package option for HID headlamps with halo lamps, spoilers, specific tail lamps and 20 inch wheels.

I'm honestly debating as to whether or not I get them. I'm really glad we have the choice! I need to see some, in-person, in both flavors, in MANY different colors, before I can make up my mind. And, I will probably change my decision about 100X before I FINALLY place an order with my trusty local "Super-Dealer." Hopefully the production line wont shut down before I place the factory order.......

You get the headlights with the RS package, you won't get a choice (according to the info we've dissected).

The RS package=HIDs. Its available on the V6 AND V8 models. No word yet as to if your local GM parts counter guy can provide you with them without the RS package. Are the wiring looms built to accept one, or the other? If not - your looking at a "conversion package" == mucho $$$$
