Also, if there is a particular car on the lot that you like but you wanted a different wheel option, they will almost always swap the wheels at your request and just change the sticker to reflect the change. I also had this done on my Silverado.

BTW those are some good looking wheels!
Thank you my friend. I appreciate the kind words sir. All in all...........it's a bad ass ride.

Currently Bristow, VA which is about 30-35 miles from D.C. I'm looking to move about 10-15 miles closer to the city so I can cut about 45-60 minutes off of my commute each morning.

yes...it really takes that long to go 15 miles.

I don't know about MI, but in NJ it doesn't. Unless... If you add bedrooms to the basement they aren't 'real' bedrooms unless you add windows that allow ease of escape in case of a fire. So perhaps that's the sticking point. The windows.

I just talked it over with my girlfriend and we both agreed that we wouldn't spend any more then $45,000 on the Top Dawg. This will be our first NEW car ever so we're gonna splurge a bit.

45k should get you pretty much all the bells and whistles, I would think. Just make sure that 45k isn't being spent on the markup from the "stupid salesman!!!"

With only my income supporting this family of 3 (soon to be 4), it's tough. You all know how badly I want this 5th Gen. But, to get what I reeeeealy want...we must have that second income. Then again, that big raise is just in a couple of years. I might have to time it with that raise.....which would mean not buying the first year they come out....

Best part of this is....we made a deal that she gets what she wants and I get what I want. She got her fully loaded SUV. Now, it's my turn...

You got to do what you got to do, and family always comes first! You will have a 5th gen sitting in your driveway eventually, and who knows maybe it will have better options or a more powerful engine if you wait a few years.

Tag, nothing worth having comes easily. Hopefully you'll get that 5th Gen. asap, but waiting a few years may not be so bad. I plan on waiting a year at least. And, it'll make the day when you take delivery that much more special.

Hang in there buddy!

I have always been a Chevy guy, but as much as I want a Camaro, why pay 10K more than a Mustang? If Chevy overcharges for the base V8 Camaro, they are idiots.

From what I've heard, Chevrolet will price the Camaro to compete with the Mustang. That being said, if the dealers charge over sticker, which IMO, would be the only reason you'd pay 10K more than a comparable Mustang, then its the dealers who are idiots, not Chevrolet.

My cutoff point is $35,000. Hopefully I will be able to get a SS with lots of options for that.

I don't expect the "Top Dawg" Camaro to be out at the beginning of production. I think there will be improvements and more models added as things move along. Think about those poor guys that paid way over sticker to get in on the first Z06 Corvettes! The newest version totally blows away those first Z06's.

You can even take my 1996 Camaro SS as an example. I scrambled to get one of the first SS's and it was very cool to have for the first two years, then in '98 the LS1 cars came out and blew the LT1 cars in the weeds. The '96 SS is still a sweet car, and a blast to drive, but any LS1 or LS2 car will eat it's lunch.
