Schlok....she looks great! How many people were trying to get up with you to take pics and videos? I spoke with a friend that got his black on black with black wheels today and he said he couldnt even change lanes because people tried to stay in his blind spots filming the car

I know John. He is the person who would see me enter the dealership and look up my status and my salesperson's phone would be ringing before I reached her desk with the status update.

Just got back from dealer had to pick up car cover for new car. Have invoice in hand and car should arrive this afternoon. Again Becky you have helped to relieve the frustrations of the wait.

Ordered it April 29th, the car made it down to the DMV (DC area) in tact, only a few splattered bugs on it. Best fuel economy I was able to achieve was 33.4 mpg over a 50 mile stretch!

This is a 7 speed (looks like it in the pictures above)? Was the 33.4mpg in Eco mode or Touring mode? Either way, that's very impressive for a honking 6.2l engine.

Sweet red beauty!

Looks like a Z51 and is that a 1LT? What other options did you get?

Eco mode, but the car was going between V4 and V8 mode the entire trip, some nice hills between Detroit and Washington DC

Also for those of you taking delivery soon, purchase a large wooden stick.....you'll need it to beat people off of your car everywhere you go!
