I have a driveshaft on order from my local Chevrolet dealer. Seems like there isn't a single one to be found in the USA. I need part number 84823326.
Does anyone know where I can get one? Are they really unavailable?

You may need to call. I looked at RockAuto and gmpartsdirect and it isn't clear if they can get you one faster. RockAuto has 3 listed, and only one of those is out of stock. GMPartsDirect doesn't display availability.

cars are getting older, gm is getting to where you need to go someplace else. rock auto is one of the best, if not the best. just tried them for the first time last week. if I can order from them anyone can. its that simple. type in your car you will be surprised at what you'll find. you wont be paying stealership prices either.

If i had to replace my driveshaft Id go with a 1 piece from either G-force or Drive Shaft Shop. Wouldnt go back OEM but if you're really bent on OEM, rock auto is probably your best bet.

There are no aftermarket driveshafts available either. My car is a 2013 AY6 LT.
I already searched online. I also want the GM OEM one only. Thanks anyway.

I just checked and there's no inventory company wide. Do you need the complete shaft, or just the rubber couplings? I believe they are available separately.

I just went through this problem trying to get a rear diffuser. Multiple dealers and online sources said out of stock and no estimates when it would be in stock. One local dealer said they could get it, I was skeptical but ordered anyway. Came in last Friday. You never know, just keep looking.

I searched every GM warehouse in the US for that number...there's none available. What happened to the original shaft? I've yet to see one fail on a V6 car.

exactly why would you need a new driveshaft. just curious

I want a new shaft because, The u joint is not serviceable, the rubber ends wear, the carrier bearing is worn, the slip joint wears, I want a complete balanced unit. The original shaft is currently being driven daily and is vibrating and making noise.

Well if you want all that you will need to go with an aftermarket. This way there is no parts of it to wear out. All the couplers and joints are billet aluminum. Just sayin...

I want the OEM shaft only. Any parts replaced on my car stay AC Delco or GM.
