any idea if theyre supposed to be lighter than the standard seats or? Im asking cause they look kinda bulky, but im thinking of swapping out my 13' seats for them Recaros.

Anyone know when will they be available?

I was told that they should become available as GM parts. The representatives I talked to said the driver seat should be able to swap in but they were unsure about the passenger seat due to air bag calibrations

Anyone know if they can be retrofitted to a 2011 1SS? Or would it be much cheaper to buy fixed aftermarket recaro/jegs/corbeau?

I'm sure they can be, and I'm also sure aftermarket seats would be much cheaper.

Is that for each seat? Or is it a total of 6lbs so 3 and 3

Each. Assuming you have the power passenger seat already. If you have a 2010, with the manual seat lever, then you're going to gain about 30 pounds switching to the power passenger Recaro.

Thanks for the info. I have a manual pass seat so I guess it would be pointless to swap haha

Eh, I mean if you were swapping for weight reduction then yes. But if you simply wanted them, then no.
