Can't adjust E-Brake - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Tried twice now to get a proper pull on the e-brake handle. I failed. All of the parts are new including the rotor, shoes, and springs.
I adjusted the shoes out till the rotor was getting tight, put it all back together, and still have to pull the handle to max extension for any brake action.
What am I doing wrong?

I haven't adjusted my Camaro, but in other cars I've adjusted the cable, both at the handle itself or under the car. Maybe someone else here has experience.
