Greetings from New Hampshire!

Hello fellow Vette fans!

My history with the Corvette goes back to before I was born (more on that below). The very first car I ever rode in was my Dad's 1962 fuelie. My parents were still in college when I was born, and that was their only car. During trips between campus and home, they used to prop me up in the center. Imagine doing that today - you'd get arrested!

Two years ago, I bought an Audi A5 Cabriolet, and was talking to my Dad about it on the phone, and we began comparing it to his 62 Vette. At one point in the conversation, he informed me that I had in fact been conceived in that car...after a shocked silence, I simply told him that was too much information.

Suffice to say that I have had Corvette fever in me for my entire life, but have never been in a position to purchase one for myself. I love my A5, but I am now looking at the C7 with some very serious envy.

Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,

Welcome! I love you story and can relate. My dad built a child seat to fit over the center console (when this was legal) so they could drive with me in the Corvette. Glad to have ya here,
