A G19 is an excellent choice for a carry gun. I like AIWB (appendix inside waistband carry) for my G29.

https://www.amazon.com/Rothco-Concea...d+carry+jacket Both of them become an arsenal though. The jacket holds 4 mags of .45 acp +P at 13 rounds. Technically could have two pistols, one on each side. I am with DMPSIX you have to like shooting Glocks. I am used to 1911's Handguns so Springfield is a lot better choice for natural point of aim ergonomics for me. I think the Glock 19 is more a mid length type service pistol and dimensions alot harder to conceal. Maybe a Glock 26 would be easier to conceal carry. If this guy was not such a douche we would have these cool pants to conceal carry! http://strykrusa.com/agentpants/ Do not buy from him though. Has patent rights on a great product but is a scammer and does not produce the product. Could try these: http://www.ccwbreakaways.com/ They look promising. As you can see I hate IWB holsters! lol Last edited by drivingagain; 07-28-2016 at 10:59 AM. |

Yep, it is a 226 with a shorter barrel very reliable and accurate.
For self defense firearms going bang and having a high round capacity is not my only requirement. The reason I no longer own a Glock or XD is shot placement or accuracy. This is important if you have a family and might need to make the shot count....as in shooting past someone, or live somewhere that you are responsible for every round fired out of your firearm and you cannot afford to miss.........oh wait...what. |

I would say go shoot the different guns first. Realistically any one saying to buy the gun they have is not pointing you in the right direction. Some people do not like Sig's either. I do not like double action as the trigger on the first shot is not the same as following shots. Unless they have changed this. Accuracy is in the shooter most of the times. Find the gun most comfortable to you and you will find a better shooting group! I am sure there is a indoor shooting range you can rent guns at. I usually do this before I buy most of my guns because I keep them not intended to sell.

How do you like your KSG - I have been eyeballing them for a while. The LWRC on the left there, what kind of groups do you get with yours? we have found 62gr are still a little light for ours and are trying out some 75gr......just because we can When shooting the 500 SW do you use both hands! |

I liked the Glock 17 when I tried it, liked the S&W M&P better though. Just felt better and I can get one with the Crimson Trace laser on it. Wanting to buy it as my first firearm. The Glock 33 round mag is nice but I can get a 32 round aftermarket mag for the S&W.
