Not only is it faster in a straight line, will dominate on corners.

Most come with top suspension, on m3 level.

Face the fact the gt500 is faster & handles better.

Personally not a fan of mustangs, bit this one can go 200+.

The GT500 can handle well but it does not handle as well as the ZL1... The power the GT500 has makes up for the handling deficit, and vice versa....

There are a lot of errors in marketing and cars are tested in perfect conditions. I love Chevy but to defend Ford I can also say that the ZL1 was marketed as an 11 second car 1/4 mile car. That was GM's claim and perhaps just like Ford's 200MPH run, it was a hero run because I don't see stock ZL1's doing 11's in the 1/4. I know my ZL1 does not feel like the GT500, which has proven itself as an 11 second car.

If the GT500 is not a 200 mph car because it hasn't been duplicated, then the GT500 is faster on a road course because a multiple lap comparison has not been done. Until it is, the GT500 stands as a faster road course car.

Just because MotorTrend says it was fading a bit and Pobst said eventually it'd probably catch up doesn't mean anything. GTFOH with that ricer math.

there has been a couple zl1's run 11.7. i thought gm marketed the zl1 as a 12 flat car? it certainly has had its tuning issues though for sure.

If the car did not go 200 mph then Ford could be sued for false advertising.

The ZL1 is barely faster than the 2013 GT500 on a road course (smaller courses) and considering it has wider tires, more camber, softer pads, IRS.................it can not overcome what the GT500 does to the ZL1 on a drag strip. Owner on SVTPerf just ran 9's in his 2013 with basic bolt-ons. If I'm not mistaken, it takes well over $10k including engine mods to put a ZL1 into the 9's.

And GT500 owners do not have to swap out their pads or worry about the valence busting or rocks chipping their rocker panels.

Yes it has. Ford would be libel if it had not.

The ZL1 hasn't raped the GT500. The GT500 was built for the street. You do not see their owners replacing the brake pads or relocating their splitters. They are very close on a road course.

But we both know the 2013 GT500 rapes the ZL1 on a drag strip. Plenty of videos of 5.0's beating ZL1's on Youtube.

I saw you said GT500's "tasted like chicken" I did not see any times you have for your car or any video you uploaded on Youtube showing what your Camaro runs.

What's your rwhp and what times do you run?

Your "killing mustang" link is another Youtube video of you killing a worn out Camaro with 200 rwhp that proves "nothing". Considering that old Camaro ran a 15 flat I put your SS near 11 at best.
