is Cyber Gray with Gray interior really.....
Is the cyber gray color, with black top and gray interior, really as rare as the dealer in St. Pete FL is making me think? He says even though it is not an extra cost paint they are rare and isn't willing to discount as he would a white or black. Is he blowing smoke at me?

I'd say go somewhere else.
That combination won't be worth any more than the other colors out there. If it is so RARE, why hasn't he sold it? That would be a good question for him.

Here's a red 2LT, Z51, loaded to the gills for $68k.
Blue is a 2LT, non-Z51. This is where I ordered my C7 and they honor Supplier Pricing and discounts on C7's. PM me if you're interested and I'll send you my buddy's phone number.

Cyber Gray is actually one of the more popular colors on the '14s. I don't know how common the gray interior is with it, but black is traditionally the most popular interior color overall for the past several years. I have seen a number with gray interiors, including my own.
That said, Cyber Gray will eventually become rare as more C7s are built, as it is no longer available. Lime Rock Green is considerably more rare with only about 3% of '14 production and it also had been discontinued.

Grey on grey is not boring, IMHO. It all depends on the shades used. The light grey (and honestly mostly black) interior actually contrasts well with the much darker Cyber Grey exterior, especially with the brighr silver painted wheels. Now, the same might not work with the new, much lighter, Shark Grey. I'd have to see one in person. And I think the light grey interior would not work well at all with Blade Silver - not enough difference in shades. My personal most boring is black interior, black exterior and black wheels. Absolutely no contrasts at all!
But that is all part of what makes choosing your color such a personal decision. Each of us has our opinion as to what looks good and what doesn't. We tend to buy what speaks to us, what makes our heart race, what satisfies us most. As long as the color combo is right for you, there are no bad choices. Besides, they don't sell Stingrays in the color I really wanted - Cyber Grey will make a great base for a future color change!
