steering wheel shaking after spacers...
I just put my stock rims back on and wanted to make them look flush... so i put 5x120 hub adapters on stock r/s wheels... they're 25mm spacers all around. I hand tightened every lug nut and torqued it myself properly. (At first used a gun, then thought that might be the issue but same thing happened after i hand torqued slowly.) I know these hub adapters are not hub centric... Is that what is causing the issue or is it maybe that I need an alignment or wheel rebalanced?
Steering wheel starts shaking around 45mph... if anyone can help me out here that would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got rust or debris between the spacer and the hub, then that can cause vibrations. 99% of the time that's the case, but if the spacer isn't a quality spacer, that can cause issues as well. What kind of spacer are you using??

It is definately because they are not hub centric! Never skimp where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. I have Eibach hubcentrics. They are sweet! But, in all seriousness...stop driving with those on your car immediately! You can have a serious malfunction that occurs at hi-speeds and next thing you know you've bought the farm...and maybe taken others with you. |

^ what he said. Get some hub centric spacers and you should be fine.

I put quarter inch spacers on my Dodge Ram. Big mistake. Shortly after I had noise and shaking and before I knew it I broke 4 lugs off right before getting on the highway.

H&R or Eibach are the only ones I would recommend.

A buddy is running the 25mm Eibach's and hasn't had an issue. He is north of 700hp and drives like an ass so you should be good with them. I've never heard anything bad about H & R either.

I ended up going 25mm Eibachs in the front and 22mm Eibachs in the rear. Flushed out both front and backs to the wheel well, but still left rears just a tad wider.
