Rude Awakening : Lesson Learned - Drive Safe

I'm not going to bore you with how sad I am to lose her. I named her and I'm sure you love your cars too. Just, please... let's all make this a less common sight.

Long story short, I saw another fellow Camaro, pulled beside him, gave a friendly "vroom vroom!" and accelerated. Took the corner too fast, over corrected and well... you can see the rest.

Needless to say, I feel like the world's biggest dumbass. Based on the pics, do you think she's fixable, or should I try for another? What are some things I need to watch out for if I try to fix her?

All the bags look like they went off. Probably a write off.

sorry to hear about your loss.

You can get into that kind of a mess on wet roads with traction control ON. I did a 180 in a driveway with TC on and moderate throttle. I hit nothing, but it was a warning for me. these cars are torque monsters and the back end can really get out from under you when the roads aren't dry.

wow that crease on the drivers side between the door and wheel well looks like that could total it in itself.

I noticed another camaro in the pictures. did that guy turn around and make sure you were ok? That is some camaro companionship if I ever seen it.

No way that bad boy got whirly like that based on his story with T/C on. He had to lose the rear end. That happened to me when I was younger in a Mazda hit a off ramp at like 65-70 was good all the way through accelerated out the corner hit a patch of gravel ass end got loose over corrected into the wall did a 180 on the jersey barrier with two wheels on the ground going in reverse facing oncoming traffic talk about shitting bricks

Man that sucks glad you made it out ok. At the end of the day its a material possession and can be replaced.
