I had a 2011 1LT RS which i put the Araid TB spacer did two high speed(142 mph)runs back to back, well 10 min.apart the time it took to take it off. I did this run the same as i did all the rest of them trying to see how fast i could get before i had to get off the throttle to take to transition to the next frwy. Both were exactly the same 142 mph.I now have my dream car 2013 SS 1LE ,so my question is has anybody done the same as i did made 2 real world runs the same as me with their SS's that can give me any input?

fwiw While I've tested the spacer a lot but not currently running it because I can't seem to keep it from leaking between the gasket and the intake manifold after a while. A while for me could be a couple of weeks and 600 miles though. It didn't seem to matter if I were running my Vararam intake or stock airbox.

60 pages of thread and you are bad mouthing people thru the entire span...what makes you the expert?
Vararam makes one helluva intake and I believe in all their products because of my experience with them. So you don't believe...well explain how I am running 3 tenths faster than all my buddies with the "same" setup except my products are Vararam? [see profile photo??...no internal mods...all bolt-ons...Vararam] Why do I have 1 rwhp less than a buddies cammed car done by the same tuner on the same day & same dyno? Oh, I know why...because A, you don't know wth you're talking about & B, you have nothing better to do than give others a hard time for trying to enjoy their cars. Do us all a favor and drive YOUR car with the products YOU want to buy and let everyone else do the same WITHOUT calling them an idiot! stepping off of soap-box now... |

I've seen Litle88 post on several threads and it is obvious to me that he is skeptical because he doesn't want people throwing away their $$...No bad intensions...You have to appreciate that.

Hey chuck, stats show that the inferno colored cars are a lil faster than the other colors. Just saying.

The Wedge is definitely not for everyone. I was a skeptic until I installed one. Now regardless of any results I can say that I enjoy driving my car a lot more since the install. I put it that way because throttle response and a car "feeling" faster are subjective. End of the day, it really comes down to whether or not you're satisfied with your purchase. I personally like the Power Wedge and I'm glad I tried it out. The fact that Vararam offers a no risk return policy on any product based on whether or not you like that product says a lot. Not to mention those guys are polite, great to deal with, happy to explain how their products work, and they even offered it to me for $99 shipped. Anyone who is skeptic should at least give it a try. Or not, but it won't hurt.

Sounds like litle just advices not to spend your time and money on the Vararam power wedge since they are other mods better for the money, but never did I read that he was strictly telling anyone not to get it it was just his opinion. If you wanna follow his advice good if not then good as well its your own car everyone is free to do their own choices.
