ZL1 feels slow

So I have a 2012 zl1 6spd mt with a roto fab intake. This car feels sooo slow and I could only manage a 12.70 at the local track. Traction was a little limited. I am looking to be put back in the seat and the seat of your pant feel. I'm looking to do this without spending a ton of money. What are your guys recommendations to get that feel and looking to run well into the 11's. thanks for the advice. Bill

Simply bolt on's.. Longtubes, smaller upper pulley or larger lower pulley, heat exchanger, tune, slicks, and practice

Drag radials are a good way to start. I am going to the drags next Friday. I have a Roto-fab and Vararam TB as my only mods so far. I also have MT 18" drag radials that I bought fror my SS. So I am hoping for good weather and 11s the first time out. JRE has some nice kits for 75-100 rwhp increases.

Easiest and first, get some high octane and do a Fuse Pull to reset that computer.

The go-fast won't happen if your timing is off.

I think the stock tune is the culprit. I don't get that 4 x 4 across the back hit expected from a 580 hp car. I believe my upcoming tune will address my concerns.

If you're not looking to dump a lot of money into it but have some fun, I would suggest the JRE 75RWHP package. Check out what Ted's daughter did with his car.JRE 75RWHP package on the track.http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=317328
