Same Here

You can get the covers from Rock Auto but they aren’t cheap for what they are.

so i got everything put back together last night (ZL1 Brembos, Goodridge SS lines. flushed with Motal 600 DOT 4 ) and the pedal feel isn't as stiff as others have mentioned. i did plenty of hard braking and multiple brake bleeds (3x total), just wondering if there's anything else i may have missed? i did re-use the old pads that came with my calipers which seem to have about 40% life left, so i'm not sure it's due to old pads? to be honest the pedal feels the same with the old setup + stock brake lines

I hate to tell you this but you need to do more bleeding. I had the same issue.

after the 3rd brake bleed, i made sure each corner (bleeding inner bleeder first, then outer & following my Haynes manual on proper bleeding sequence of RR, LR, FR, FL) i had no more bubbles coming out. how would another brake bleed help? is it possible more trapped air would get released after a few test drives?

You might need to brake hard enough to activate the anti-lock pump. Bubbles can sometime get trapped there. Might want to do it in a damp parking lot.

What he said. I found the initial brake job to be a nightmare to bleed everything. Once I got it all out it's fantastic.

Looks like I got all that to look forward to.
Never bled brakes before and I got a track day next Friday. Debating weather I should/will get them done before or after.

How much fluid did you go through with all your bleeds? I have 4 bottles of Motal 600. Hope that's enough.

i swapped over to Motal 600 as well and after bleeding 4 corners to cycle in new fluid i went through ~3.5 bottles. then after a few more brake bleeding sessions later (read above) i used another bottle or so to make sure no bubbles were left. so 4 should be enough, maybe grab an extra bottle just in case so you're not stuck running out in the middle of a brake job.

then if you end up not using it, just return it

Damn! They got enough flake in that paint to make a high end bass boat owner jealous!
Would love to see them installed!
