Gen 2 - What a change

This Vette was at a car show I went to today in Chapel Hill, NC, props to the owner on this for taking an older car and making it look different. Some may not appreciate this different appearance but I thought it was done with class.

Wasn't really sure where else to post this on the c7 forum, thought it was worth sharing though.

Great detail. Cant knock that. That said, its hideous and disrespectful what they did to that car. Rims are gaudy as well.

I agree, the wheels are awful. The rest of the car is quite stunning and to me a work of art. And they may not have actually "ruined another classic". Often times, such a car will start as a totaled wreck sitting in a salvage yard for who knows how long. The frame is likely not the original, and chances are most of the body work isn't either. This may also have started life as a newer Corvette, such as a C5, and the body merely molded from C2 parts. To state that a classic was ruined without knowing the history of the car and its build is a disservice to all of those involved.
