Fourth Camaro -

Hopefully I’ll be the owner of a 2011 Camaro SS by next Tuesday - unfortunately the bank closed before we could finish the deal today and we can’t finish the transaction until next week.

Been a long time member of Ls1tech.com. I had planned on buying a 5th Gen when they first came out but life got in the way, plus it’s much cheaper when other folks take the depreciation hit.

New car is triple black, M6, 2SS, sunroof, 52k miles. The aftermarket wheels are coming off ASAP. This isn’t going to be a garage queen, I plan on driving it year round except when the salt and snow is out here in SE Michigan. Now I have to find a place to store my 1999 Z28 until next spring.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thank y’all!

More pics next week. With my luck it’ll snow the same day I pick it up.

Finally got it. First pics!

Finally picked it up yesterday. Quick observation:

1. Gotta get used to the HU. A bit distracting for old guys like me.
2. Not as claustrophobic as I thought it would be. Maybe due to sunroof.
3. Skip shift not as big a PITA as I thought it would be. Torque is a wonderful thing.
4. Blind spot as bad as advertised.
5. Unlike most people, I wish it actually rode a bit smoother. Not mushy, just a bit less bouncy on rough pavement.

Sad putting my 1999 in storage but had to make room in garage for this one.

Can’t wait until spring so I can fix the paint. Lots of swirls. Plus the aftermarket black wheels are coming off ASAP and going back to stock.
