Painted my toenails for the Fest tonight, fingernails tomorrow. One batch of fudge cooked tonight, another batch tomorrow. Packing tomorrow, most everything is ready to pack. Can't sleep. Doubt I wil be worth much at work tomorrow. Mentally, I am already at the fest! You guys better participate in the parking lot games. They will be fun, I promise.

I don't have the same excitement as you guys and gals going to the fest, but, in addition to my new wheels, I also am excited because our Seahawks season tickets came in the mail today! 1st preseason game is only 12 days away!! I had almost forgot what the schedule was! Good thing I didn't pre-register for a car show that day...
Jan, we're playing the Titans - I'll show some love for former hometown heroes Hasselbeck and Locker, but other than that... I've been waiting for football season to get going for so long...

Our Titans had a sad first practice day in full pads yesterday, with a team member found having committed suicide. Some of our staff will be doing crisis response with the team. Prayers for the family of the player. So sad.


But just one more day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Indy, Look out, Ruby is on the way. Time to wake up & get the day going gang.

After the last 2 miserable seasons the Vikings had, I've all but given up on them.

Gary, love the 3 stooges smiley! I saw the PNW thread with the GTG you're planning at Wally's. That place looks so cooooool! Do they have they old-timey speakers, window trays and car hops, like the old A&W Root Beer Stands? God, I miss those. Have a great time!

It's a good thing I was up late watching the Olympics, or else I would have awoke to a flooded kitchen! I heard the dishwasher making a funny clicking noise, so I checked it out... It won't drain. Grrrr.... Repairs might cut into my powdercoat funds if we can't find the clog ourselves!

Haven't been watching that much Olympics, but that swimmer from CO. Missy Franklin Wow what a story. Teen with god given talent gives up thousands of $ in endorsements so she can still swim with her friends in school. Stays in CO with her old unknown Coach with people telling her and her parents they are crazy. She goes out and wins gold with her parents in attendance.


Who is going to be the first Old Fart in Indy?Show those youngsters how it's done. Safe travels.
