That was purse #4. I have several pairs of shoes, from my Loubies, to sandals, to Chucks, shirts, chairs, table, drink ware, parasol, cooler and even found matching disposable cups. The last car show we were at, we were asked to do a photo shoot because they were fascinated with our whole motif.
Today I just picked up a matching rain slicker for our wonderful NW weather.

At this point we have had it and we called our insurance co and filed a claim on our policy and we are going to let them fight with the other co as to who is to blame and who will pay.

So now tomorrow my insurance co is going to send an adjuster to our house for estimate number 3. He told us that he will then fax it to the shop we chose to do the repair and we can have it fixed as soon as they can get it in. At this point there is no debate about replacing the fender as it definitely cannot be fixed now. I think I can get it in the shop within the next day or two.

The one thing that bothers us is the lack of responsibilty people have regarding their actions over what is actually a small $1700 insurance claim in the grand scheme of things. My wife and I are responsible people and if we make a mistake and cause damage to someone elses properly we own up to our responsibilty to make things right. I cant understand why more people can't feel the same way and do the right thing when something happens. Sorry for the long rant I just want to get this over with and get my car back to normal.

Sorry you are having to deal with all this. Maybe now your baby will soon be repaired & looking great again. Let's just say it will be so.

Mike & I have decided to leave a day earlier for the Fest & meet up with the Camarovan from Texas on Wed to head up. I'm so excited my permagrin is hurting.

I'm focused on other stuff maybe I'll squeeze in a mod or 2 ( I'm saving $3K and 4K miles on my car). I thinking about a catch can and maybe painting my engine cover - heck, I might even cave in and have my JBA shorties installed.

I'm just glad to have a break.

Maybe I'll take a mini trip to Cali. The choices are endless.

It's so much fun looking for things to match the car. Jeanette does it and our friends that have the Hugger orange Z/28 do it. Now they are starting to look for things to go with Jen's new ride. Tell Mike all the Kool Kids are doing it!

My work week is done and I don't have to be back until 8/9. It's been many years since I had that much time off work.

I hate that I'm leaving my coworkers really short handed, but...
