I was all over the idea of getting one of these for the wifey but at $45K-$50K I'm out. That's too much coin for someone who barely gives a damn about her car.

If it was $10K less (similar to a 2SS) I would be getting one of the first ones from my Dealer.

I'm now in the market for either a used CTS or a G8 GT... I'll really save some coin that way.

The way you have to look at the MSRP is by comparing to a hard loaded camaro.

If you option a 2SS with everything in the book, they your'e in the low 40s. (Sticker)

Add, two more doors, ventilated seats, Active Cruise Control, blind spot radar, front park assist, lane departure warning, parallel parking assist, etc... and the low volume of these cars and the MSRP is in line with the car.

The 04-07 CTS-V was 49K and didn't have all the features.

As so many have said, if they weren't so expensive.... Can we get a Z28 version without all the needless technology for like $38k?

How's the build quality? Interior touch and feel and materials? You can ruin a perfect looking interior with cheap hard plastics ... my '11 Legacy felt cheap, whereas our '08 Outback is a much nicer place to be

It's just a holden vf commodore.... what do you expect? Chevrolet will be marking up the vette the same way when it goes down under in 2015 / 2016.

If you have seen the interiors of some Lotus cars why are they so expensive... on top of the fact they are not even that fast... so comparing the price on a Chevy to that of a Cadillac is the same idea.

I am not bashing chevy cars they are my #1 choice, but there are a lot of people who buy for brand. Not to mention people who want power in a family sedan should just throw in the towel and get a V Series Caddy :P
