Just received my tix to the ALMS race at COTA. I bought 2 tix for me and a friend. I needed 2 tix and 1 parking pass for the corral. I ended up with 2 tix and 2 parking passes. Only have 1 car, that means I have a set of parking pass for the corral 3days available. If someone is looking for parking pass, pm me.

Yeah... I have 3 extra parking passes as well. Contact them and try to send them back for refund. That's 60 bucks worth.

Hey guys I am in. Not sure yet if the wife or daughters can make it, but I am there for sure.

Question: father-in-law is a Corvette owner. If he gets the corral ticket can he bring his car and do the laps with us or are we restricting to Camaros? No worries either way but wanted to be clear to him.

Thanks!

I would not count on parade laps but he's definitely welcome. Tickets need to be ordered this week.

Also, the Corvette corral has a couple of spots left (but we are way more fun). Here's their number. Adam Naasz 512-536-1468.

Looks like you can, from their site:

The Dallas/Fort Worth area TollTag and Houston EZ TAG are also accepted on Austin area toll roads.

No toll tag? No problem. Drivers without a toll tag will receive a bill in the mail. There’s no need to prepay or register. Cameras above the toll lanes will photograph the license plate, and a monthly bill for toll charges will be mailed to the address listed with the Department of Motor Vehicle. We call it "Pay By Mail."
The Pay By Mail toll rates are one-third more than TxTag rates to offset the costs related to processing the license plate information. Also, a $1.15 fee is applied to each monthly bill for non-tag customers.

You might not have to worry about washing your car on Friday. Latest weather forecast is 100% rain on Friday . Save the washing for Saturday, only 40% chance of rain. Lately in Austin, 40% chance means no rain.

We're getting our first significant rainfall up here in Dallas in 3 months. Luckily nothing major scheduled.

It pains me that I can't make this event. Finances just aren't there right now (Thanks raging hot summer for jacking my electric bills through the roof!)
