Don't see it in any of the interior shots ?

Am I blind?

Its a push button electric parking brake. If you look all the way down along the center conosle youll see it there. Im kind of disappointed by that, since the hand brake lets you play around doing donuts etc. And before somebody says when do you actually use that, I can say Ive done it many times, even lets say when I want to cut a turn really hard and force my tail to spin out a bit without gunning to break traction that way...so there...(reads back my post..god Im so wordy tonight)

I want to say I read somewhere that electric E-brakes are becoming mandatory in Europe. Not sure where I saw that, though.

No more 90 degree ebrake turns. Time to learn how to do those by hitting the gas!

They're not. Its just another electronic gizmo to eventually breakdown. I have a 2014 with a handbrake lever.

Lever actuated hand brakes can stretch and require adjustment over time.

Electronic E brakes never do. In fact I would bet you a steak dinner at Flemings the electronic E brake is actually less complicated, weighs less, and requires fewer parts to operate than a cable operated one. Switch, relay, wire, two solenoids. Even less than that if it goes through the ECM/BCM which I bet it does.

And the biggest advantage is occupant space. Ebrake costs more than a lever. So there is a method to adding that content.
