I don't know how they prioritize orders but here is my build history.
Event*Date Event Status 01/25/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order. 01/25/2012 (1102) Order entered via web. 01/27/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production. 01/31/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system. 01/31/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway. 03/22/2012 (3100) Order available to sequence. 03/22/2012 (3300) Order scheduled for production. Even though the plant is closed next week, if the built cars are released from QC, do the guys that load and ship them work?

Based off my experience of 25 some years a go, when a plant closed all that was there were maintenance personnel security and some front office people, that's it.

I'm not sure how these orders get prioritized through the system once they get picked up, but I'm trying not to lose a wink of sleep over it. I order my car on 11/3. My allocation was picked up on 1/27. I went to 3000 on 1/31 and have not moved since. I am sure it will move soon. I ordered a base car (no options) in CGM.

My order was picked up January 5th, and was at 3400 the first week of February then back to 3000 Feb 11th. Been there ever since, and some cars that got picked up at the end of Jan were built. Who the hell knows !!!

I ordered mine on the first day as well. It has been as high as 3400 and back and forth several times. I don't really look at it all that often, but I thought it worth noting that it moved after being static for a few weeks.
It seems a few are moving so hopefully a good sign! We can hope! |

My 2010 VIN was in the 4200 range, but was delivered on the 4th day after the delivery of the first know delivery on this forum...I think that car was in the higher 2000 VIN range. Would not surprise me if ZL1 #500 or higher isn't the first in a customer's hands. (excluding #25 that was mistakenly already delivered.) |

I feel for you man, I know it would be pretty frustrating for me to see orders placed fairly recently, be picked up before mine, If I had placed my order the first day available. Mine was placed in early December. Hopefully it won't be that much longer for ANY of us!

Mine was one of the one's that was backed down from 3300 to 3000 and is now back at 3300 as of yesterday. So it seems to be a mix. The neverending mystery of GM production order sequencing...

Maybe somebody at GM is just messing with us. Just kidding. I am hoping things start to get moving. Maybe they won't have the line down next week? Maybe that is wishful thinking but we could only hope. At least they seem to be scheduling some cars into production. Mine hasn't moved out of 3000 status yet but I am crossing my fingers. Here we go guys.

Can someone / anyone explain this....., I feel for you I'm only on my second vist to 3000 status after my second order... There is no way, I would ever go through this process again...

I'm hoping that things begin to move once the plant opens back up after next week
