So it comes down to.. talk to the local shop and if they can do it for less than $300 then get it done locally. I say 300 because of shipping cost.

Hmmm...watch out exhaust companies...looks like this is the cheapest way of getting the car sounding awesome! I would do the same if I had the V8.

Pics and/or video please!!!

From what video I have heard and what everyone is saying it sounds as though this will be the option to do. I'm only hearing it on the YouTube videos but the muffler delete actually sounded as good (if not a little better) than the $1,500 Corsa cat-back exhaust.

There are a couple other scenarios I hope someone has feedback on:

-What would it sound like to just replace the factory muffler with a Magnaflow or Flowmaster?

-If you did just remove the factory mufflers, how loud would it be if you end up adding LT's and/or high-flow cats?

How would a glass pack do in the place of a straight pipe?

Hushpower Pro replacement on the L99. Hushpowers are a straight-through design, not a baffled design like most Flowmaster mufflers.

I've heard the muffler delete and it sounds pretty good....louder than the Hushpower Pros for sure, and not an obnoxious loudness.

You know, I thought this would work.

The cats and res. quiet it plenty.

Good cajones to take the chance.

If I only knew how to add a video clip. I am no computer man at all. I have a camcorder just need some knowledge what to do with it. Guys I have been following this forum like twelve times a day since last year. I will do what ever it takes to get the word out to try this simply fix. Spend the extra money somewhere else. (or send me the difference in those over priced exhaust systems)

lawdogg149, do you know how to get the video onto the computer? if so, follow these instructions, and if these dont work then just google it for something better: http://www.google.com/support/youtub...n&answer=57924
