I did a google search and there are some aftermarket manufacturers on this. I wish it was an option. I have had my car 6 months and I am still learning how far to pull into a space

You should learn to back in.

For the simple reason that when the zombie apocalypse happens, you'll be able to make a quick get away.

Learning to back in solves more headaches than you could possibly imagine. Any vehicle, any time, anywhere, always back in if you can.

Backing in is a good idea. I find it very difficult to judge just how long the nose of my C7 really is. Every time I park it I think that I am leaving plenty of room between the car and the curb. Then I go look and and the car is only inches away from the curb. Yikes!

A curb alert is $150, mounts with simple hand tools with no perm mods to the car, allows me to get within 2 inches of a curb or parking ingot. Just another alternative....

Hey Glen e...could you give us a little info: Mounting location - running the wiring - power connection - etc. I know that you kept asking for a youtube vid for a C7. But, it looks like you got tired waiting and just jumped into it. Thanks!!

I disagree with their mounting location as I like mine safe up in the grill but this is a good how to in my dropbox:

PM me if you get serious, I have a big DIY on one of the other forums that I can't put the link here...
