Insurance

What kind of insurance quotes are you guys getting, and thru who? I called my girl who handles my company trucks and she said it would run about 1200-1500 dollars a year to add to my policy. Had my wife call Progressive and they told her they could not even give her a quote because they did not have anything set up in there computers for the car yet. Seems like they are kind of dropping the ball.

Currently pay $95 a month on my '99 Camry through metlife (no collision) . They quoted me $125 a month, with collision. Thats with the highest deductible possible though. The highest it got up to with the lowest deductibles was around $160

24 years old (btw)

You guys should search for Auto-Owners insurance. My insurance is less than 1/2 of what Geico had me paying, then again, I'm married and have no history of anything. My wife had a ticket 3 years ago, but her dad is our agent and got a few strings pulled--as far as her ticket goes, not the price.

Your premium will depend on the all the coverages you opt to have, driving records of all drivers and age (depending on company) and the area you live in. The insurance companies can quote the camaro, but most of them have to have the vin # to get an accurate quote. Most of the insurance companies have not updated their systems for the 2010 camaro, but they do have the option to quote the 2010 vette which is as close of a match as you are going to get right now to get a rough idea for a quote. You can also use a vin # from another camaro to get an idea, but that vin # may or may not have all the options your car will have to get an accurate quote as well. I know that mine will be roughly around $2000 a year, but that is because of my husband's driving record.

Thumbs up State Farm

I'll be getting a Camaro when I'm financially able, but in the meantime I called my agent at State Farm for a quote.

I'm currently paying $330 every six months for my '06 Sonata, and for a new Camaro 2LT, it'll be $340. So a $10 increase. I can live with that!
