The 6th generation camaro is insane for the money.

never would i thought it could actually compete with a BMW M3 on a track. After watching that motor trend comparison on youtube.

I am betting the new generation gets a twin turbo v6, also the base corvette.

From a dig, our cars will always take a head start due to our tires proving a much better traction (weight plus our tires are much better than PSS imo).
That makes a lot of sense since the Vette wins in the aerodynamics aspect.

I drove my co-workers C7 Stingray and the power feels JUST like the Camaro... instantaneous torque! He drove mine and said the exact same thing.

Vette feels a lot lower to the ground, a bit lighter and more nimble. The excellent Alpha chasis of the Camaro will def. give the Vette a handful at a road course.

My 2cents from driving both.

That's what I'm afraid of. If that's the case I will definitely keep my gen6 Camaro. Long live the v8!

Not to change the subject too much but I'd like to see a 1SS auto and a manual convertible Vette. I'm wondering if the SS would hurt some Vette owners feelings in that scenario.

The Camaro would easily pull ahead of the Corvette off the line between the two transmissions. From a roll it would depend on how well the driver is in the Corvette and as others have said the Corvette would always pull ahead at higher top speeds given the weigh advantage. Non car enthusiast would see a gen6 Camaro and never think it would hang with a Corvette. Heck the guy that I raced asked me if "my car was normal". I guess he meant if it was stock and it is.

Lol, guess they didn't see it was on track. This was after the track was closed. A friend of mine runs it so we were able to have a little fun.

I venture to guess he had a M7... Just a guess though.
