Dublin - you kidding? 1LZ for 100k+? Even with Z07 package, same car from Kerbeck or MacMulkin for up to 10% off, at low / mid 80's. There are no dealerships in Bay Area where you can get a decent price on a new C7 Vette - literally 10-20K difference in price on new Z06's.

Camaros - do seem to be different. But all bets are off if you're wanting to be first in line from a waiting list. Allocations are always an issue with low production number, top HP cars. Be careful you don't get in a contract with someone who can't deliver.

If I were going the list route, I'd sure be looking up a high volume dealership, who will courtesy deliver to a local dealership. You should pay no more than an extra $500 for the service.

Tim Boone @ Boardwalk in Redwood City seems to sell a bunch of Vettes under MSRP. I'd imagine the Camaro would be the same

I've always just called Tim. Not sure what their website says, as it's been in the past, just generic. Like I said, I just call...

I wish you the best of luck, but its going to get a new ZL1 for msrp. My guess is 6 months - year after the release you will be able to get one for msrp.

Yea of course the Z06 is old now, Mark ups are for new hot models. When the Z06 first came out no way in hell would you get one for msrp.

Saw this article in the Lansing Press. Seems like good news about production if it's accurate.

They say the plant hired 500 people and the car will be on dealer lots late this year. Maybe dealers will start accepting orders in the middle of summer. Fingers crossed. I'd like to drive it before it snows again.
