There's No Place Like Home

I had a 2005 C6 coupe and a 2008 C6 coupe. When it was time to get a new car, I thought I might like to try something different. So I bought a 2SS Camaro convertible. It is a great car, and I love to put the top down and drive. But, since I live outside Chicago, that doesn't happen very often.

So anyway, I am at my dealer getting a routine service on the Camaro and spot a 2014 C7. It was literally love at first sight. I had been following the news about the new C7 in the car magazines, but had not seen one in person, or sat in one. I was hooked.

Today I ordered a Z51 3LT couple with magnetic ride control and NPP exhaust. I have purchased 15 cars from this dealer over the years, and sent him 5 new sales leads, all of whom bought from him. I always pay invoice for my cars. Imagine my surprise when I tried to buy the C7 at invoice. To make a long story short, I got if for a few thousand under MSRP. I think it was a fair deal. I probably could have done a better deal if I waited for the 15's. But I fell in love with Cyber Gray. So it was now or never.

Should be in by April or May. There's no place like home, there's no place like home . . . . . .
