This site also refers you on to a "GFORCE" site which claims performance enhancement from a GFORCE chip ($69). Does anyone know anything about this chip?

If you want my professional opinion on any "chip", save your money. If you want a real tune, go to a professional tuning shop where they can see all of your computers information on a screen and can tweak it from there to match your mods. Plus, you get dyno runs along with it to get the most power out of your tune.

From Autoweek:

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 details leak, and it's going to have 620 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque
Search result metadata gives sneak peek at fired-up C7

2015 Corvette Z06 specifications 620 hp 650 lb-ft Chris Doane
We'll be seeing the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 sans camouflage soon enough -- it will make its debut at the Detroit auto show.

By: Graham Kozak on 1/07/2014

We won't get a complete look at the specs of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 until it makes its official debut at the upcoming Detroit auto show, but a web coding blooper means we get a sneak peak at some of its vital stats before the reveal. Specifically, it's set to get 620 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque -- a big boost over the 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque the base 'Vette enjoys.

How did this happen? According to Jalopnik, Chevy built an empty placeholder web site for the Z06 ahead of the reveal but kept some specifications in the page's metadata. A keen-eyed Jalopnik reader noticed. We did our own search and included the results below.

Since this takes a little bit of the drama away from the big debut, it's no surprise that GM has reportedly pulled the info. But don't worry, guys! We're still eager to get all the little details that didn't leak, like weight, acceleration, fuel economy (just kidding)...if anything, knowing that the already suburb C7 is getting a few hundred extra horses under the hood has made us even more intrigued than we already were

Less than 30 minutes away!! http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette-z0...ar-reveal.html

Jalopnik speculated this so I wonder if they'll actually reveal pricepoints today... but we'll see.
"So there are no figures released yet, but it's not going to be cheap. The new Camaro Z/28 will be $75,000. The C6 Z06 started around that price as well. My mental priceometer tells me that the new Z06 will be more expensive. I have no insider info or actual idea of the price, but something around $85 - $90,000 sounds right to me. I don't know why, there's just something about it that feels right."

LT4... Supercharged 6.2 it is! Two trans choices (7-spd manual with rev matching and the new 8-spd hi-po auto).

At least 625 hp and 635 lbs-ft torque... and add MSRC, e-diff, 5-mode drive selector, and PDR (data recorder).

Updated now on Chevrolet site... https://www.chevrolet.com/2015-corve...-supercar.html

Specs sheet: https://www.chevrolet.com/content/da..._SpecSheet.pdf
The all-new Corvette Z06 offers three levels of aerodynamic downforce:

First, the standard Z06 features a front splitter, spats around the front wheel openings, a unique carbon-fiber hood with a larger vent, and a rear spoiler from the Corvette Stingray’s available Z51 Performance Package.

Step up a level with an available Carbon-Fiber Aero Package (in either black or a visible carbon-fiber finish), which adds a carbon-fiber front splitter with aviation-style winglets, carbon-fiber rocker panels, and a larger rear spoiler with a fixed wickerbill — a small, vertical tab at the edge of the spoiler that significantly increases downforce.

At the highest level, the available Z07 Package adds even larger winglets to the front splitter, along with an adjustable, transparent center section on the rear spoiler for track use. With this package, the Corvette Z06 delivers the most aerodynamic downforce of any production car that GM has ever tested.

I like the first level Z06 (w/o Z07 pkg)... it comes with the Z51-style spoiler. No mention of prices but at this point I'd guesstimate at least 85K to start, probably closer to 90K. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Chevy starts it close to 100K neither. We'll see sooner or later... gives some of us at least 12-months to save up for a hefty d/p.

That was the most frustrating unveil ever.

They didn't even show the cars. We can easily listen to the speaker while viewing the cars. No need to see their lips move.

Can't wait to see more...
