I got to drive a C7!!!
I was LUCKY enough to be chosen to drive a C7! I was offered this amazing opportunity because I work on the forums with y'all.
I had the most wonderful trip in the Torch Red 7 speed. I drove for about 6 hours on the highway. I kept it within appropriate speeds, so I did not get pulled over on company time. After all this was over I didn't want to lose my job. The electronics is like nothing I have ever experienced! The infotainment system and information from the vehicle is at your finger tips. The car handled like it was hugging the road. I am 5'9 with a long torso and I had plenty of room above my head, for you taller folks out there. There is also a lot of seat room to be comfortable. I am so excited for y'all to get your C7's! This experience really ramped me up even more! I am so happy we are shipping and you will have them soon. Now for me to get on the C7 bandwagon and get one, so I can continue to enjoy all that horse power! |

You have a level of self-control I don't think I would have. I told my friend yesterday that the first thing I'm going to do after I pick up my 'Vette is "probably get a speeding ticket". I'm a little jealous. Was it fully loaded or base model?

Hi Kalimus,
I really did hold back, but my since it was not mine and I was at work... It was a 2LT and just remarkable! I have driven a lot of Corvettes over the years and the C7 was in my opinion much more comfortable. The drive was smooth, sharp and clean. I cannot wait for you to get yours! Kelly J. Kelly,
I am wondering about the highway ride quality of the C7 with Z51. Looks like your car was Z51 equipped. What did you think of the highway cruising ride? |

One of the Heritage Center Stingrays?
Nice report. But I am still holding out for the regular body C7. Laborsmith |

I need this car.
And I think this is the first time we've actually seen who's behind the Chevrolet Customer Svc username.

Wow, that's awesome! Just rewards for putting up with all of us crabby, expectant soon-to-be owners and our never-ending questions! Good for you! Ignore the trolls over on that other forum....
I am so jealous, especially since mine seems to have gone AWOL (I've PM'd you with some questions)! I am patiently (not really!) waiting for my Museum delivery, and will finally get to see some in person at Mid America Motorworks' Funfest tomorrow. Somehow I doubt they will let me drive one though!
