C7 Side Pipes

Make a bet that in year 3 the C7 Stingray comes with a Viper-like side pipes option just as Chevy did with the C2 in year 3.

I personally don't care for the look on the old Vettes but I think it'd be a cool option to have. It'd be more tempting if it looked similar to the style on the Viper.

I hope not - if so, you can have them. I bar-b-qued a leg once getting out of a viper. As far as I'm concerned, they're too hot, wide and generally a pain the ass to deal with. 4" tips out the back suits me perfectly.

I don't know. I actually think they could look really awesome. I mean, look at the C7R. Pretty sweet.

But I second your general opinion in that it creates a logistical problem with your legs. I remember being young and burning the crap out of my leg on my dad's 67 stingray side pipes.
