Lexus is trashy, though. I have not met one person that has been blown away by a lexus. They're average cars at best. Lexus isn't a very smooth ride, either.

Try out competition mode by hitting the traction control button twice quickly. And I could care less about spinning tires so who cares......
Everyone pretty much swears by turning everything off...BUUUUTTT in my experience this was fine EXCEPT for when it did break loose shifting to second or off the line. Seemed to be about a 50/50 chance that you would loose traction so T/C on was like having insurance that it wouldn't happen...
Ran exact same times with or without when the wheels didn't spin. I'll take the insurance cause it sucks to waste a run on spinning tires.

I love how most of the people talking the A6 down are the people that didn't or wouldn't even buy one.....the manual shift group, like mister "I told you so". It seems that they feel threatened by something different from what they have chosen. I especially like the title of this thread "Is ANYONE happy with their Auto". It seem that almost EVERYONE is happy with their auto. I see the same thing on the snowmobile forums. You will always have your brand arguments but then it slips into the 2 stroke vs 4 stroke arguments. Here we have the auto vs manual debate. My car will be here next week and I expect it to get up and go but as with all powersports there is always room for a tune and a fews bolt-ons to get just what you want or need. My car will stay mostly stock and it will still be a Gen5 Camaro, which says quite a bit. The performance debate between the A6 vs M6 is and will continue to be argued at the track.

no offense man but something has to be wrong with your car, honestly I have a very heavy right foot and my mpg is very fair for the kind of driving I do, I would imagine most people driving my car would be averaging close to 20mpg combined...............

Trashy? WTF!? I was absolutely blown away by my Lexus... Average car? It's one of the most reliable cars on the market, with one of the top resale values. It sounds like you've never even riden in one.

Sorry to dissapoint but NO WAY you are going to get low 13's stock... Try very high 13's or 14 flat

So far 13.2 @ 106 mph is the fastest I've seen for a stock L99. But this isn't the best time of year for fast track times.

Here's a link.

I'm sure the 94 degree heat played a factor, but I still say high 13's will be ther norm.... This wasn't just one or 2 runs... I had 7, others had the same number of runs. Two L99s had tunes only and still had high 13's.
