How different can the sound really be? Are u talking about just quad tips sold online or quad tip with full exhaust? Cause i doudt quad tips alone makes too much of a difference.

Yeah I understand but it's better to see if it's worth the purchase or not. Just trying to see what's out there for sound clips. Couldn't find any on the forums.

Tips alone shouldn't have any effect on sound. Other exhaust modifications have significant effect on the sound, like replacing the mufflers or down pipe.

Yeah, the Mishi setup will look great when they actually ship it to you 2 years later!

Then I don't understand why you keep asking for a sound clip?

As far as I am concerned, adding tips does nothing except look different. Taking the muffler away or any structural work will elicit some performance AND sound.

No sound to post but my setup has a deep and solid sound; it was installed w/o mufflers and I like the result quite well.

I took delivery of the turbocharged LT with the rear valance for the V6 and went to Plymouth, Michigan where MRT installed a modified version of their v3 cat back exhaust and their tips. There are pictures in another thread in this section if you would also like to see the results.

From what I understood, their mufflers are really resonators w/ baffles, so the effect on how loud the exhaust would be using them, IMO, would be minimal.

Yeah, I saw that post. Like you said no sound clip though. :( I appreciate the remark though!

I kind of lost hope for Mishi in my own opinion.

There are many setups for quad tips...ones without mufflers...ones with mufflers...ones with catless...ones with cats. Like I personally don't understand why people on this forum dog on what other people are looking for? I just asked for a simple sound clip not to constantly rammed about "it shouldn't sound any different" I'm simply looking to see how OTHER people have their setup and see what it sounds like. It's as easy as that.

I will try to make a sound clip this weekend. I have catted zzp downpipe and quad tip mishi exhaust with mufflers (they have a race version with no mufflers). Its pretty loud at idle and low cruise, it was originally way to loud for my liking with catless downpipe but swapping to a catted one made it tolerable. It looks nice, i love the 4 tip look.
