Rear Seat removal

Does anyone know the steps for removing the rear seat bottom from the ZL1 1LE? I googled it but nothing comes up. Maybe it is still too new.

That link looks like it is for buying a rear seat delete kit. I am looking for the instructions on how to remove the seat bottom. I am not deleting the seat bottom just need to pull it out to bolt in a harness and then put it back.

I tried just pulling up but it did not work. If that is the way I will try to pull harder but want to know if that is the correct way first. Don't want to break anything.

Some of the rear seat bottoms are incredibly difficult to remove. I needed two 2' crow-bars, one on each side of the snap to get my rear seat cushion off the snaps.

1. Remove lower seat cushion: 2 clips hold the lower panel in place, near the
front lip of the cushion. Use a screwdriver or similar tool to push in to
release each side. You can also lift the rear edge of cushion first, and the
clips will come out this way as well. Pull lower seat cushion out of car.

When I took my rear seats out for racing I pulled out the top first then pull up the bottom. Really easy I thought, just 2 clips and I didn't use anything but my hands.

Trying to remove mine also, and it looks like the ZL1 1LE's are different... no strap at the top to fold the seat down... can someone help shed some light on this? The back seat feels flimsy and I dont want to break it.

The ZL1 1LE does not have the strap, but the latch is the same. Here's the trick, you need to unlatch the seatback from the trunk:
