ZL1 1LE Camber

Does anyone know if you need to put the pin and screw back in after adjusting the camber back to normal or can it be left out for ease of changing the next time?

Good question!!

I asked the Camaro Team this at the Fest, and they said that the pin's purpose was alignment and assembly at the factory. It will still help owners align the camber plates for street mode, if they wish - but you can leave them out with no consequence.

Mine are in a little plastic baggy in the glove compartment...they have been since the Fest.

Thanks for checking on this. Did you change your camber back to the normal street setting as well?

YES!

I made the mistake of keeping it in "track" mode for a few hundred miles of street driving...it DESTROYED the inside tread of my front tires.

We discovered that toe points in ever-so-slightly from the factory in street setting...changing it to track points the toe out about the same measure. That's much nastier on the tires.
