Paint Protection Film on Satin Black Mirrors and Rockers??

My ZL1 1LE is getting wrapped right now.....trying to decide if the Satin Black Mirrors and Rockers would look best in regular (gloss) xPel or in the Stealth (matte) finish??

I wrapped the hood in Stealth and it looks fantastic....but the mirrors and Rockers are more of a satin and have much more gloss than the hood.

Those of you that have had these pieces wrapped.....what have you used?

Looking for feedback (and any pics?!?!) asap!

Thanks!

I have only used the clear xpel on the nose of the my cars and mirrors.. the splitter and rockers are so cheap to repaint down the line and the paint so easy to match it wasn't worth it cost wise to me.. 450 job into a 2300 job.. those 3 pieces to paint are less than 200.00

I would stick with the flat theme since the diveplanes are closer to flat even though they are blk plastic with little texture.

Agree....not cheap to wrap the splitter and rockers....but this is going to be primarily a track car and they will get beat up badly, quickly, if not wrapped.

Thanks for the feedback appreciated!

Any one actually wrap them yet??

All of the black parts (front spoiler, hood, side view mirrors, rockers and rear diffuser) on mine were done in Stealth. PM me your cell and I'll send you all kinds of pics.

Doing the Same Thing

Just had the car delivered from the dealers to my boys shop yesterday.

Getting full paint protection film installation (Suntek ultra ) , matte paint protection to hood, mirrors, rocker panels, and front aero. Leaving canards alone since they are not smooth.

Lifetime ceramic pro package on top of film, all glass coated, wheels, and single step paint correction.

Interior coating and protection.

All lights, rear wing will be removed to allow for complete seamless tucking of film.
