I was 28 years old when I bought my first Camaro, my 67 SS350. I still have it and I am 55 years old now. Holy Kia, I am old.

New member checking in, own 68 Camaro, and can't wait to get my hands on the new Camaro. All I need is the biggest engine with a manual trans and I'm good. Gm did a great job designing this car, Just get it out so we can buy it.

I cannot wait for this car to come out. My first Camaro was a 1969 Z-28 with RS options. Numbers matching 302DZ. I bought it for $4000 in 1982 and sold it for $9000 in 1986. I thought I did great :(
Looking back I never should have sold it. My last toy was a 2002 Z06. I had it about 6 months and wanted more power so did a head / cam with all the bolt ons you could do and netted 427 RWHP and 390 RWTQ. Drove it for about a year and still wanted more. Next came a LPE Stage II Twin Turbo. At it's peak it put down approximately 650 RWHP and 600 RWTQ. Scary fast. I sold it in Feb 2006. I cant wait for this to come out. Next time no mods (read.. exercise self restraint) I hope they come out with a S/C version with at least 500HP to go head to head with GT500. I am suffering severe HPDS (horsepower deficiency syndrome) and need an antidote quickly. JWz28 |

I've always been a trans am fan. when i was in high school i could dream of nothing better than a 98 LS1 trans am with ram air. i still plan to get one but won't want to put tons of miles on it... the camaro is sexy as hell and the new toy on the block. I jsut got a new job in real estate and hope to be able to pay one for cash when it comes out this is my motivation to work my butt off for the next year or two.

Hey there. I'm Chad. Here is my Camaro story.
I have a 94 Z-28 I bought a year and a half ago. It was my first Camaro. I fell in love with the car. I put on an exhaust, cold air intake, cooling fan switch, all the basic bolt on stuff. I was going to get some headers and look into a cam but I ended up needing a new transmission, a new computer, and a new radiator instead. I thought about just looking for a new car but I felt a strange sense of attachment to her. The car still doesn't have 100k miles yet. Which is pretty phenomenal for a 13 year old car. I couldn't just get rid of her. So I spent almost what I paid for it and got everything fixed. I'm waiting for the new Camaro to come out, and I don't care what I have to sell or who I have to kill I'm getting one. And my current car is going to become my project car.

That's why I am hoping for a S/C on the new Z-28...power on demand without a bottle and a factory warranty. JWz28 |
