The pics posted by Kerbeck of the finished Corvette didn't appear to have the best lighting and quality that likely effected its actual appearance....it looks dull in the posting.

Other pictures on this forum and I assume those in this thread of Dusk Blue look much better.

When will GM share official photos of the new color on the Camaro??

Not blue enough for me. When I think blue I think of something like my G8 in my signature picture. They called this Stryker Blue and I also had an 05 GTO that was Imperial Blue, which was a bit darker than my G8. I love blue, but the color shown in these pictures isn't anywhere near my idea of being blue.

Funny cause they say that the 2014 Impala was supposed to be the same color. And the bottom pic is the Dusk Concept which Scott just said "is just about spot-on"

the lighting at an autoshow is different as well. Ahen gray, IOM are too colors that in the auto show lighting and rear world lighting look differnt.

this color reminds me alot of the color on my 300C bright sunny day it looks more blue than an overcast day.

It truly has a depth of color spectrum that tantalizes the mind! And allows for black and polished accents du jour!

Whish there was a true Royal Blue. Go back to 69 pull the paint code match and make a true retro ZL1. I would but it in a heart beat. Instead I am looking at the new 90th ann. 427 Vette or just keeping the SS. Leaning more toward the latter. lol

So I guess in the right lighting, at the right angle, it looks almost as good as IBM.

A step backwards imho. The only thing IBM needed was better matching fascias. IBM would have looked great on the other models built at Oshawa also. So would have ABM. When I get my next one in '14 or '15 hopefully a decent blue will be back, with matching fascias.

That video is the best I've seen this color look, but we need more outside shots. Artificial light always makes colors look a little different. We won't be driving these things inside, more pics are needed. Liking BRM a little more but I don't think it's a good enough blue to take me away from black like Jetstream or Opulent would be.
